Please dress your child in comfortable clothing, ideally in soft colours like cream, beige, grey, or pastels.
Avoid clothing with large patterns or logos, as they can be distracting in photos.
We’ll have a selection of head accessories available on set to add a touch of festive charm.

FAQs for Parents
How do I book a photo session with you?
You don’t need to book a session! Your child’s photo will be taken at their daycare on the scheduled dates with the help of the daycare staff.
Please complete the Seasonal Photo Session Form, which will be emailed to you and/or provided by the daycare staff..
When and how can I view and choose the photos?
Once the photos are ready, you will receive an email from Capturing Light Photography with a link and password to access your private online gallery.
I DIDN’T RECEIVE THE INVITATION TO MY GALLERY. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
If you haven’t received your invitation email within two weeks of photo day, please check your SPAM folder. If it’s not there, feel free to contact us for assistance.
CAN ANYONE SEE MY CHILD’S PHOTO GALLERY?
Your child’s gallery title and thumbnail will appear in our Client Area, but access is only available through the unique password sent to you via email.
IS THERE A MINIMUM ORDER?
No, there’s no minimum order and no pressure to buy—just browse and choose what you love!
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?
Prints: Ready within two weeks after the order cut-off date.
Digital files: Unlocked within 48 hours and ready for download.
WHAT IS THE CUT-OFF TIME FOR ORDERING SCHOOL PHOTOS?
Orders must be placed by the cut-off date, which will be emailed to you along with your online photo gallery invitation. After this deadline, a Late Order Fee will apply to cover additional processing, handling, and direct shipping costs. To avoid extra charges and ensure timely delivery, please ensure your order is placed before the deadline.
WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR?
